The listings below presently include all parks reported to us including those at which we’ve stayed that offer some type of high speed connection for overnight guests. Usually, but now always, this will be a wireless connection. And in some cases the signal may reach only a portion of the park. We do not include parks that offer high speed connections only to long term guests. It is our intention to include below ONLY those parks that offer a free service. We invite readers or park owners to advise us of parks offering such services so that we can include them here. RV parks offering fee-based wireless service can be found by looking at the campground listings posted by the various wireless providers. Imagine being “online from Chicken”! When I was coming up with the concept for my Sprinter van conversion, I knew I wanted not just an adventure mobile to haul my gear, but a comfortable place to live and work. With this in mind, I had a few priorities when I was designing the van: I wanted the van to feel open and airy maintaining the walkway to the back door. In this blog post, I give the full Sprinter Van tour and share all of the details of my Sprinter Van conversion with you. I opted for the high roof, Cargo style van and added sliding door and back door windows.

When I was coming up with the concept for the layout, there were a few different options for the bed. The first option was a dinette. This would maintain the walkway and give me a place to work, but it would be near impossible to have a bathroom. Plus sleeping vertically meant that the entire back half of the van would be devoted to the bed. The next option was a platform bed, where the bed is built on a large platform with a bunch of storage underneath.

This option would provide the most storage space but would again eliminate the option for a bathroom.

History[ edit ] The first government office charge with responsibility of crown land management in modern day Ontario was the Office of the Surveyor-General of the Northern District of North America, created in [2] and initially headed by Samuel Holland. Holland was initially appointed Surveyor General of Quebec, but offered to assume the larger responsibility at no increase in salary.

Holland continued to serve as Surveyor General for both, but openly advocated that they should be separate posts. In , Charles Burton Wyatt was appointed but was suspended in Ridout was named to the office in and held the position until The primary responsibility of the department was the sale and management of public lands and the granting of land to settlers.

The following list includes national, state and provincial parks, private campgrounds and RV “Resorts”. Some would be considered “destinations”, while others are merely stopovers we’ve encountered en route. Our preferences are for places where the sites are spacious, the views interesting, the facilities clean and adequate, with friendly and professional management. We’re not particularly keen on urban locations, train or highway noise, or video arcades. Hookups are certainly a convenience, but some more primitive locations can be superb without them.

Thus in the lists which follow, you’ll find RV parks that fit into virtually all categories. The sites are scattered through a well manicured woodsy area adjacent to a small lake.

How to Find Parking for Your Tiny House on March 18, You love the idea of living in a tiny house so you can have a maintenance free lifestyle with super low expenses. I do too, but where are you going to park it? After all, your house is tiny so you might as well be pretty close to the places you like to go to. Those are my beliefs anyway and I am sure you have your own. Finding your space to build and park If you are buying your house ready made you really only have to worry about one spot which is where you are going to park it and live in it.

Lots of times this might be the same place. Renting land or bartering with business owners is a great way to find a solution. A profitable tiny house situation I think that the smartest solution is buying a house where you can park your tiny house in the yard. Then you rent the big house while you live in your little one. If you can do this you might find yourself in a position where you make a monthly profit from your living situation.

When you are trying build and live in your own tiny house you are going to face criticism. You are also going to inspire many as you build. The most important thing you can do is keep a good attitude, ask the right questions to the right people and listen to your instincts. Avoid arguing about laws and instead focus on what you can get away with in your current situation.
